What is the Ribbon Game?
It is a fun activity/Scavenger hunt sweeping the convention scene that is allowing people to make new friends and give activities to do during cons. How does it work? Well if you are just collecting then you just have to find people with ribbons and complete their task to achieve your prize! If you want to hand out ribbons then you have to get them designed and ordered, lucky for you we help with that!

Margaret Tyler
Ribbon Guardian- Ribbon Queen
an affiliation of Family of Moonlight
She has been involved with the Ribbon since 2019 when it was introduced to her local conventions in Ohio. She started to host the Ribbon Game at Animazement in 2022 (2020-2021 pre planning due to covid-19). Nekocon 2022-2024 and newly added Five Star Comic Con in Middletown.
Sereia Tibbedeaux
Ribbon Guardian- Staff an affiliation of Family of Moonlight
Sereia has been attending cons since 2011 and have been a cosplayer since 2012. They were introduced to Family of Moonlight in 2013. They help plan events, panels and ribbon games!
Joanna Mathews
Ribbon Guardian- Staff an affiliation of Family of Moonlight
JoJo aka Jothena, has been a Sailor Moon and anime fan for more that 20 years. A high school friend of Meg's, she has been involved in Family of Moonlight for many years as well. Her other interests include dinosaurs, horror, and tabletop and board gaming. She runs the BESM 4th Ed. Shadow of the Moon Module for Family of Moonlight's gaming night. She first got introduced to the ribbon game at gaming conventions and started helping out with the ribbon game at Animazement 2022 and Five Star Comic Con.
Misty Thompson
Ribbon Guardian- Staff an affiliation of Family of Moonlight
She have been cosplaying and going to cons for over 18 years. I love to run public photoshoots. I am a gamer, con mom, manga reader, and animal lover. “You’re never too old to be young.” ~Snow White and Seven Dwarfs. She first got introduced to the ribbon game at Nekocon 2023 and has been helping with Animazement and Five Star Comic Con.
Angel Melzak
Ribbon Guardian- Staff an affiliation of Family of Moonlight
She is not only Family of Moonlight's mascot artist she also works behind the scenes with the Ribbon Game with planning the game. She is an Christian, artist and enjoy older anime and manga. Grateful that I get to share my love of creating with others over the many years. You can find me on Instagram, FB and DeviantArt under kuroitenshi in some form. She first was introduced to the ribbon game at gaming conventions and started helping out with the ribbon game at Animazement, Nekocon and Five Star Comic Con.

Where we host:
Animazement Ribbon Game (Raleigh, NC) Founded at the end of 2019, due to the pandemic in 2020-2021 the Ribbon Game was introduced in 2022.
Five Star Comic Con Ribbon Game (Dayton & Middletown, OH) Founded in 2025 at the Middletown, Ohio location.
